The Bedford-Stuyvesant Family Health Center (BSFHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that serves all of the primary health care needs of families in the heart of North and Central Brooklyn for over 40 years. We are seeking an eClinicalworks Coordinator to join our team. The eClinicalWorks Coordinator oversees the day-to-day support of eCW platforms, both test and production. The Coordinator supports clinic staff by helping to resolve issues with the eCW platform, as well as integrated systems, to ensure the systems function in a way that allows clinical staff to provide high quality service to patients. In addition, the Coordinator will be proactive in the research of new features and functions, assisting in the incorporation of new features into clinical operations.

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.  THE POSITION REQUIRES ON-SITE FULL TIME.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for all issues and requests relating to eCW
  • Respond to end user requests for issue resolution. Create and monitor tickets with eCW and work to resolve problems quickly and accurately
  • Create, modify, and terminate eCW user accounts and user groups, including modifications of appropriate security settings
  • Maintain eCW training materials
  • Work with various departments, such as Clinical, Operations, and Finance, to examine workflows within eCW and update as appropriate
  • Manage upgrades and feature implementations of eCW, including integrations and peripherals
  • Work with outside entities with regards to eCW integrations (i.e. immunization, laboratory, HIE)
  • Attend eCW on-going training to stay current on eCW features
  • Assists in developing training plans involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Define the scope of training needs for productivity improvement
  • Ensure that all personnel receive an appropriate orientation to the training topic
  • Establish communication dialogue with stakeholders on training requirements
  • Reassess trained stakeholders to ensure standards continue to be met based on trained workflows and perform respective documentation

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree prefers
  • Minimum 2 years supporting enterprise-class Electronic Health Records systems
  • eClinicalworks experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations

Strong written and oral communication Other Related Skills/Experience and requirements:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out moderately complex, multi-step instructions and make appropriate independent decisions as necessary.
  • Strong understanding of EMR/EHR software and/or physician practice management applications;
  • Solid understanding of physician practice operations including charge capture and clinical documentation;
  • Outstanding listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work and communicate with providers and practice staff;

Hourly Rate: $20 and based on experience
